I had an amazing stay with a gorgeous bathtub and a super comfy king bed. The shrimp and grits at the restaurant were delicious! I would come back again.

i appreciated that the hotel was terrific and clean. i found toast, granola, hot waffles and eggs to be lovely. the location was stunning, the staff was willing to help. it was close to a subway station.

Charming place, I loved consistently courteous personnel.

I booked a room with an exceptionally comfortable bed, central heating, a private safe and multi-channel television.

Had fairly quiet and luxurious room with a huge bathroom, a fully stocked mini bar and sofa, and protected with smoke detectors. The location was marvellous, and we could reach Franklin Square by walking.

The area was very busy.

A lovely historic old building. The quality of furnishings, bed linen, bathroom etc is of the highest standard. The staff are exceptional efficient and helpful.

Lovely historic hotel, the decor was just gorgeous. our suite/room very comfortable and relaxing in fact we would have liked to have been able to spend more time in our room it was so lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Delighted that the hotel was withing walking distance of Washington sights.

Classic old inn authentically furnished and comfortably appointed. Short walk to metro subway and most of the Mall side museums and government buildings. Near restaurants and shopping. Quiet and friendly.

We visited the famous concert venue and enjoyed the energetic nightlife nearby. The location was perfect for walking around and checking out local eats. The staff was super friendly, and I loved the cozy feeling of our room. Just a heads up, the garage is a bit tight if you have a larger vehicle.

Thanks, I will be back, truly enjoyed this place. Plus, the location is great and stunning, minutes from a just wax museum. It's possible to walk to bakeries and restaurants. The hotel is based close to a subway station...

Wifi signal was not available in our room (408). You may want to add an extra access point for rooms far away from the current one.

The room was spacious with a cozy sitting area, and the comfortable bed made it easy to unwind after a long day of touring. The hotel's elegant decor provided a charming atmosphere, and the location was perfect for exploring the nearby attractions. The staff was friendly.

Nice clean room and friendly staff, but no coffee maker in the room.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice functional and roomy bathroom for a historic hotel. Reasonably sized room and the veranda was lovely... Good value and great location.

Windows were sealed. TV was small.
